Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. Her most well-known role is her role as Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other roles include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio with her family in early 1970s. She was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a year studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working by the theater in the Chicago area for a few years, before attempting her hand at television and films. Anna was cast as Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. Anna continued appearing in films and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of the 1990's. Then she was selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood that was shot in the mid 2000's. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). Also, she starred in the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn appeared on stage to star in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama Numbered days, which was made available in 2022. The story of Breaking Bad is dependent on the relationships that exists between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The deterioration of this relationship is similar to Walter White's dying days.
