Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most well-known character was as Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting Performance on a a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting during her time at Preparatory School. In the late 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. The theatre studies she pursued took place at Northwestern University. A semester was taken at the British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons performing in Chicago the theatre before moving to TV and film roles. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. The early 90s were when she was a frequent guest on TV and in films like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully as well as Deadwood was another movie she starred in. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. She also had a role in Numbered Day, which is a series of audio dramas. Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and their eventual break up echoes end of Walter White's story.
