Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at Preparatory School, before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. Her studies in theatre was in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was spent in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons performing in Chicago the theatre before moving to film and TV roles. Anna's first big part was Arden on Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. After appearing as a Guest on several TV shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 1990's She was then cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood that was shot between 2000 and 2001. Skyler is Her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood was another film she starred in. Gunn also took to the stage starring in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. She also had a role in Numbered Day, which is a series of audio dramas. The relationship between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the narrative in Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and its eventual demise arguably similar to the arc that was Walter White's last years of his life.
