Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in America. Anna Gunn is a US actress. Her other roles comprise Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at Preparatory School, before her family relocated to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre at Northwestern University. Anna began her career in Chicago-area theatres for a short time. She then moved on to television and film. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big part in the role of Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. In addition, she played in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Then it was only in the latter part of 1990 when she landed an acting role on The Practice. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. In 2008, she was picked in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. Also, she starred in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn was also on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn appeared in a series of podcast of audio plays called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their conflicted relationship and their eventual break up echoes final years in Walter White's story.
